This
class provides the knowledge to work as part of a major emergency
incident involving numerous local, state and federal agencies. The
national incident management system (NIMS), which must be adopted
by entities requesting federal grant support by the beginning of
2005, is explained. The class is taught by two instructors, one
with a fire service background and the other with a law enforcement
background.
